About

🌿 About Me

Hi, I’m Kayla or just ā€œMeā€.

I’m a woman with autism and ADHD, which means I experience the world deeply—sometimes painfully, sometimes beautifully, always intensely.
This blog is my place to unmask. To write without editing my voice out. To share the parts of myself I’ve spent years hiding or reshaping to fit in.

I write like I think: in spirals, bursts, and quiet waves.
Some days I’ll tell stories. Other days I’ll write poetry or post a messy painting that helped me feel something I couldn’t explain.
This space isn’t curated—it’s lived in.

I believe in big feelings, soft rebellion, and the small brave act of being honest.

Thanks for being here. I hope something I share makes you feel a little less alone.

Want to know more? Here are a few quick facts:

  • Special interests include: art, history, education, law, neurodivergence, plants, and making meaning out of chaos.
  • I used to be a teacher. Now I’m healing and figuring out what’s next.
  • I believe art is survival. So is rest. So is laughter.
